Before the latest storm arrived in New England, the VJW Junior A team traveled north to face off against the Vermont Lumberjacks in a two-game weekend series.
The Warriors posted a 3-1 win on Saturday and then skated to a 2-1 victory on Sunday before heading back home. Four different Warriors - led by a two-goal and one-assist performance by Austin O'Rourke - found the back of the net during the weekend sweep.
The VJW program was also featured on the Eastern Hockey League (EHL) web site this past week and recognized for its outstanding ability to develop student athletes!
Included on the scoring sheet on Sunday, however, was Will Platt, who stands third on the team in scoring with 20 points in 40 games. In fact, Platt is just one point out of the top spot.
Will took a few minutes to answer some questions for the younger VJW players.
