Brendan Parent of the VJW '99s Named NEHL Player of the Week
The VJW '99 Half Season team is off to a flying start in the New England Hockey League (NEHL) with a solid 4-0-3 record through the first few weeks of league competition.
During the week ending on September 15th, one of the players was recognized as the NEHL Player of the Week. Brendan Parent earned that honor after he scored three goals in the second period of the Warriors' 9-1 victory over the Monarchs. Parent was selected over a host of other players competing in the NEHL's '99 American Division.
In addition to Parent's offensive explosion during the second stanza, Andrew Burke registered one goal and two assists, while Cam Schmitt scored twice and Nick Keroack and Joe Rotundi each had a goal and an assist.
The Warriors also - during that same week - recorded a 3-0 shutout of the Patriots 99E squad.
Congratulations to Brendan and the entire VJW '99 team on a job well done!
