VJW 00 Selects Find Time to Give Back to Their Community
Despite a challenging hockey schedule, the VJW 00 Selects are finding time to make a difference.
Coming off of a four-game winning streak, Head Coach Paul Sacco and his players took time to collect items for kids who are sick and hospitalized this holiday season. This is the the fifth year in a row that the team has decided to generously give back to the community, each year picking a site that provides help to children their own age in their surrounding communities.
This year the team collected new board games, puzzles and toys which were donated to the North Shore Medical Center Pediatric and Child Psychiatry Units located at Salem Hospital and Union Hospital. These games and toys will be on the units in the children's activity rooms for all of the patients to use during there stay in the hospital all year long.
Congratulations to all of the VJW 00 Selects for their stellar performances both on and off the ice!
