Warriors Announce the Introduction of FULL SEASON U-16 Team
The Valley Jr. Warriors are excited to announce the introduction of a Full-Season U-16 team that will begin its inaugural season for the 2012-2013 campaign.
This team - which is open to all ’96, ’97 and ’98 born players - will be part of the newly-formed EJHL U-16 that was introduced by the Eastern Junior Hockey League (EJHL).
The players will take part in a 30-35 game EJHL-U-16 league schedule, practice 2/3 times per week and participate in 2/3 weekly off-ice training sessions with Mike Boyle Strength and Conditioning. In addition to league play, team will also compete in several U-16 Showcases during the season. "This new league will provide a great opportunity for elite players to
develop through an age that is normally void of strong hockey teams in
the Northeast,” said Steve MacAdams, the VJW’s Director of
Program Development. “The Warriors and EJHL are always striving to
provide more avenues for our players to reach their potential both on
and off the ice."

Club Criteria developed by USA hockey in accordance with the American
