Earlier this month, the NHL Central Scouting's Midterm Rankings of North American skaters were released and three former VJW players were included on that prestigious list.

Leading the list of locals was Sam Kurker, who was part of the successful VJW '94 squad from mites through midgets. He was ranked 41st overall and was one of 20 New England players to make the list.

Also included in the NHL Central Scouting's Midterm Rankings were former VJW players Cam Darcy (#103) and Brendan Silk (#206).
