Athletic Evolution to Showcase Revamped SportsPlex on March 14
Athletic_Evolution_logo_300px.jpgAthletic Evolution, the official strength and conditioning partner of the Valley Jr Warriors, will be hosting a Nike SPARQ Awareness day on Saturday, March 14 at its headquarter facility in Woburn.

Over the past three years, Athletic Evolution has transformed its 15,000 square foot space from a single-purpose strength and conditioning facility to a multi-purpose miniature sportsplex that features the following unique offerings:

* 60 yards of artificial turf for speed/agility training and sport-specific skill training
* 4 retractable batting cages for baseball and softball athletes
* 30’ x 60’ real ice rink for hockey skills development
* Large free weight/cardio area for strength and personal training classes

"Our goal is to be a premier strength & conditioning facility first, and a sports specific training center second,” said Erik Kaloyanides, President & Founder of Athletic Evolution. “We have realized the first goal by assisting thousands of local middle school, high school, and college athletes improve their athleticism.  We have realized the second goal by adding 4 batting cages, a 30’x60’ real ice rink, and private areas for lacrosse skills and football skills training.  AE now offers the ultimate all-inclusive training experience in Massachusetts."

The event will include the following opportunities for young athletes and their families.

* Certified staff will perform Strength and Conditioning demonstrations open for participation
* Sports nutritionist will be available for personal consultation and fitness evaluation
* Open ice time for free trials on our new ice rink
* Open batting cages for a free look into new and improved equipment and baseball/softball programs
* Open lacrosse space and equipment to learn about our new lacrosse programs
